Carrying a camera as I wander around helps me see. Here's a few taken recently. While they are really "snapshots," I do try to make them somewhat decent snapshots.

The very south end of the SF Bay, salt flats and shallow marshs. This from Alviso, a part of San Jose, 13 feet (4m) below sea level.



San Francisco's summer air conditioner turned on high. A fog show over Crystal Springs Lake south of SF



A created SF Bay overlook, attended by a touring group. I'll save the view for another day.
