Hello,

Just got the duracell 1HR charger from Wal-Mart for 26 bucks with the tax.

This charger has seperate charging for four AA or AAA batteries and comes with the plug and cord type power. It has the seperate lights for each charging cell which comes on red and then turns green as the charge completes.

What I am unclear on is it says that it is one hour charger and then to unplug it after the lights turn green meaning charge complete, BUT what if you dont will it resort to trickle charge???

So far I inserted all four batts. at about 30min. of the charge the batteries were fairly warm to the touch. At about 40min. in they were considerably hotter but still not to hot to touch and hold hand there.

Two of the Batteries finish at about 45 min. and the next two shortly after that about at 50 mins although they finish at seperate times.

I left them on there to see what would happen after the hour was up and the batteries began to cool down and after being on there for a total of 90min. where back at room temperature (cool) and the green lights still lit.

Would it then be in trickle or maintain mode?

Just trying to share information as well.
Sorry it is so long!!!

Thanks Tenxo

Hi tenxo

I think this is an incredible deal.
I bought one for my brother and one for me.

It was weird that with the very first charge 1 battery took only 5 minutes to charge while the others took the standard 1 hour.

I think for $25 is a great deal since there are few chargers available with independent banks like this.

But mine just died after one week of usage.
Hope that was just one defective unit since I really like this charger.

Anyways, I think this charger was worth recomending.

Bye,
Lucem
