lens for the d20

I have just ordered the d20 + canon 24-70L2.8. My main subjects are:landscape, street scenery, children. I will surely need a tele beyond the 70 (which is actuallyt a 110mm with 20d). probably up to 200mm. normally my choise would be a 70-200L2.8. But I am afraid (or hope) that very soon, Canon will manufacture a special series of lenses, designated for the dig. cameras. Prabably much lighter. What are the chance for that?

I'd cancel your order for the d20. Canon have just shipped the 20D

I think Canon will continue to create EFS lens but the high quality lens (L lens) will more than likely not be replaced.
