I need a few clarifications with the new 20D

1. What is the release date? I hear Sept. 20, Oct. 20th?? Does anyone have the "Official news"?

2. OK, so I am looking for references to the BP-E2 grip. No one lists it as an option for the camera. In fact the only mention of it is in Phil's review. Does anyone have confirmation that the grip changes from 10D to 20D.

This way I know if I am selling my grip with the 10D body or not....Thanks

You will need a new grip for the 20D. The new grip comes with a AA battery holder so that it can take either the Canon batters or AA batteries. The two grips are not interchangabe. I was able to preorder a grip along with a 20D.
