Dylan,

It might be a little late to try mugging up.......... :-(

I suggest a delay and disract strategy... perhaps pointing out that you have more or less forgotten PS7, as CS is now your preferred tool ????? ;-)

Since there generally 20 different ways of doing ANYTHING in Photoshop, and nobody on the planet knows it all(?) I reckon the test itself is a little unfair, don't you think?

You will just have to "busk it" ... Good luck,

Baz

There are certainly many ways to do things in Photoshop. But there are certainly better ways than others to do things. The process flow can be very important in maintaining quality. Also, some tools are more suited for particular results. Knowing these things separate the pros from the armatures.

A well thought out test certainly can properly test one's knowledge of the tool and a knowledgeble use would be able to correct the test knowing when more than one answer is correct.

  • C-7OO, and some other stuff

Photography job with a liitle PS?
Photoshop job doing CMYK conversions?
Preparing web galleries?

Photoshop is such a large program...

We test our prospects as well, usually a 2-3 hour test!

We primarily test people for production stuff.
Using the path tool, Creating shadows, create a simple action...
