Took my first moon shots tonight...

Here's one taken with my A80...



and another with the S1 IS...



and finally one captured with the S400...

It's tough here in Joisey with all the excess light pollution at night to get decent pics ;-(

Very nice. What kind of adapter and telescope do you have? I have a Meade 90xlt and a Canon G3, but I don't have an adapter.

First off, thanks for your comment Scott!

I am using a Meade ETX 90 UHTC in combination with a Scopetronix MaxView40 with a 52mm T ring...also have a Digi-T ring being shipped so I can attach the cam to any lens on the scope...GRR! another expensive hobby!! ;-)))

I took the moon shots with the scope mounted on the Meade deluxe field tripod with isolation dampners under the feet with the 10 second shutter delay activated on all the cameras...I use the Bogen setup for terrestrial viewing.
