Hi All,

I had to shoot these during a video shoot. Had to work around the video guy, plus be sure not to get in the pictures.

All shot with available light and very little post-processing!

Great camera!

GenoP - these are great! Really enjoyed them all - I'm amazed you worked just with available light, were they really bright spot lights? Otherwise you must have been ISO800 or higher - but the pics are super smoooooooth... and one is 1/400! This is a setting for a sunny day, not a dimly lit room - - -

So... how did you do it?!

They are all shot NEF, Auto WB, Less Contrast, Med High Sharpness, Color Mode II.

Culled pictures using Thumbs Plus.

The lights were bright and they were very close so I had to compensate on my my exposure for many hot spots when shooting. I metered carefully and adjusted by chimping the hystogram and blinkies being sure to not overexpose.

Post-processing was to turn off the Sharpness and apply Unmask Sharpness, and apply a very slight curve adjustment via Ron Resnick's method and create Master TIFF.

Each picture took no more than 2-minutes.

Batched TIFFs to resize in PSCS with unmask sharpness to compensate for resized picture, convert to sRGB for WEB and save as JPEG.

Hi - thanks for all this info, great results! Last question - what ISO were you using?

Cheers - Chris

The Drummer @ 400
Group shot @ 800
The rest @ 200

These cameras just really want bright light...I guess that's why they look the best with a 1.4 or 2.8 lens.
