My 50mm F1.8 front focuses at F1.8 only.....

My 50mm F1.8 front focuses at F1.8 only at F2.2 and up it's perfect. Is this comon??

Mine seems to do this also at 1.8 (in low light at least). It has a pretty narrow DOF and its the only lens I own that I've seen it happen with. Since it is a little soft at 1.8 anyway and I usually stop it down a little -- I don't worry about it. Its a nice lens.

In one shot mode at each half press, it re-focuses and goes from front focus to correct focus over and over. In servo mode, it just goes back and forth over and over.
