What is TV view vs picture output when composing for copy stand work? My CP990 is hopeless showing only 80% of the captured image. Can some kind E-10 owner help this wannabe E-10er with this vital info for an archivist please, ta Bob

I'm not sure I understand the question. Are you asking how much of what you see in the viewfinder or camera LCD is actually in the picture? Or how much more is in the picture, or what?

Hi Bob,

If you mean "What percent of the actual image taken is seen in the viewfinder/LCD ?" -- read Phil Askey's (owner of this site) review of the E-10 for exact numbers, but I think 94% of the image is seen in the LCD or TTL Viewfinder.

If you meant "When the camera outputs the live preview (i.e. LCD view) to a TV/Computer monitor via the video out, what percent of the image is seen on the TV/Monitor?" Then, I don't know; the aspect ratio would change, doubtless. If that's what you want, let us know, and we'll see about a little test.

Take care,

F.J.
