price is a JOKE!
Yeah, I was looking at the Dynatran Series B2 on ebay and the list price is ridiculous! ($440) Then I looked at the web store (amvona.com) and found that they sell it for $165.......needless to say, I went ahead and placed my bid and won for $94....hope it's a good deal as it will be on its way soon.

Thats the heavy duty version of what I got, like I said I am very happy for the price (Id be happy even if it was $20-40 more)

Amvona ships very fast compaired to some others, I bought a boom from them and it was here in under a week. Its well worth the price $60 with shipping, in fact its much more stable than I would have guessed

Oh, thanks! That's nice to know, by any chance have you purchased a muslim background from them (Amvona)? I am very new to "studio photography" and would like as much feedback as possible. Thanks.

Do a search under amvona. There was a thread the other week on them. Some like, some despise. I won one scenic from them last summer and was pleased with their service and am pleased with the backdrop. Others have not had such luck. My .02

I bought two via eBay and they are very nice. Good quality. Managed to get the two of them, shipping and all for $150. Less than what I could buy one for anywhere else. These are 12'x16'.

I also just recieved the Dynatran background support. Haven't used it yet but it seems very well made. (Model AS-14-2)

Oddly enough, the AS-14-2 is taller, wider and lighter than the AS-14 and still about $10 cheaper. Beats me.

residue from the paint used on them coming off when you handle them?

After handling them I find my hands get sort of dirty, kind of like handling news print and having the ink come off on your hands. I'm worried that it may stain a client's clothing if I have them lie or sit on the muslin.

The list of my stuff is in my profile...so that the search engine works like it's supposed to. How about you?

I understand this post is quite old but I have a question about your backdrop stand. Actually the question in more concerning the case that came with it.

I also have a backdrop stand from amvona but I have the AS-014-2 with only has two stand supports in stead of three.

I really like the case that it came with and was thinking of purchasing another to carry my light stands in but was wondering if this bag would be better suited for it.

Could you briefly derscribe it to me? Does it have pockets for the three stands?

Thanks in advance
