Photographer charged in death of porn model (oh Not again)

I just saw this news and thought I would post it here.

I think he indulged in his fantassy a bit too far.
Several points:

1. According to the reported finding of a sick poem, this guy is not a

Photographer" but a "Psychopath" using photography as a means to aquiring victims.

2. This is not part of a fantasy going too far: she had multiple vicious stab wounds.

That requires real intent to rip up another human being.

3. Such monsters may gradually morph from fire-setting, animal cruelty as a child to gradual increase in psychopathic destruction of people.

4. Unfortunately, "snuff films" are a commercial commodity that allows financing of such dangerous criminals

5. If this guy is guilty as charged, I hope he will be studied genetically and using every other scientific method available so we can understand how to detect this type of human aberation.

6.What happens to him after that is not very important: it just is a matter of cultural values and cost.

In any case I would prefer that all his pictures are destroyed so that this sick stuff his removed from circulation.

This is not an issue of any photographer but of how we can protect society from psychopaths!

Still it could frighten models.

Hey Asher,

When I said Oh no Not again. I meant the photography community taking another hit again.

All you need is a couple of news items like this and everyone thinks that all photographers are like that. That's what I meant.

And also when I saw his pics he has a look on his face. Not to judge him but Charles manson had similar look ;-)

Same pure evil as Charley-hope the boys in prison do a real tune on this guy. Scarey to know there are folks like him out there-wonder how many other evil/awful things this POS has done.

Come off it - she may have said his images had too much digital noise & a certain lack of resolution.

You know how it is - some people are just never satisfied. I will wait for the verdict unless you know for certain he is guilty & can dispense with the trial.

I read this with the same eyes that have read numerous accounts of models being raped before/during/after (whichever the particular cases may be) a promised photo shoot or movie "audition" - accounts that sicken me because, as the initial post suggests, in a selfish way, that this is only going to make life more difficult for well-meaning, well-intentioned photographers out there.

I refer to it as a "selfish" statement while believing that it isn't selfish in a bad way. This is truly how it can impact our careers. What is more damaging is the life that is now lost because of SOMEONE - whether or not this guy did it, she is still dead by vicious means.

My heart goes out to these women, even more so to those who have been **** victims because they live with the trauma for the rest of their lives. While 20/20 hindsight could lead many to suggest what could have/should have been done on the part of the woman, that is all irrelavant. It is too little, and it is way too late. No matter what, it is not their fault. No one deserves this.

For adding words to my selfish remarks. After I read your reply I had started thinking about that and you are right.

The person who lost most here is the model. I was only referring to what we could lose and I should have added how I felt about her too. It's sad that anyone gets killed and even that in those circumstances and that kind of death. Nobody deserves that.

But when and if they find him guilty I think they should give him the maximum penalty available. I hope her family gets the justice they deserve and my sypathies to her family.

I'm glad you read my comments as they were intended to be understood. =) We're in agreement.

Point well made!

Still, I am againstmanipulation of prisoner safety as a way of extra-judicial punishment.

It is claimed that guards will put a young prisoner in a cell with a known rapist of men.

As much as I hate killing people, ruthless people that savage others are animals that have no possibility or right of correction or acceptance or forgiveness.

I would prefer doing a rapid death penalty after getting all the research data possible. Use the saved money to prevent someone kid from going down that path!
I hope her family gets the justice
But there is no justice. Justice is easy when there can be restitution. I break your window, I pay for it and for your trouble and ask your forgiveness and we shake on it. One can learn from that and move on.

A lost eye, is devastating. However, the company executives can ameriorate the situation somewhat by admiting fault, making the workplace safer and payingenough to materially support the victim and a fine to make the company care more.

However, when someone is savagely killed, no payment in money or punishment can bring restitution and peace.

The victim cannot be reconstituted. Therefore. IMHO, justice can't be done!

All that is possible is to destroy the evil before it strikes again. A lion cannot be rehabilitated so it won't kill bambi!
they deserve and my sypathies to her family.
Yes, that is foremost.
