Hello,

I have the following problem conserning indoor photography with the Pro70.

If I want to do a macro shot I cannot use the speedlite 380 cause I get a dark area all around the subject. And when I'm not using the flash, the skin color of my subject and other colors are completely wrong (people skin = pig skin).

I'am using an Epson Stylus Photo 700 with all settings adapted for digital photography.

What am I doing wrong ????

Please help

Hi Frederic,

Try a diffuser for the flash on extreme close ups...may help.

Also in the absence of a white balance adjustment there are two possible remedies

1. pre-focus and ae lock on an object in the room that has white in it, then the white balance should be set for that particular light
2. If your image editing program allows plug-ins there are many available that

will correct color abnomalities due to varied light temperatures, similar to a filter on the lens. Two that come to mind are PHOTO_OPTICS and EXTENSIS INTELLIHANCE. Here's a general URL for plug-ins
