The birdie is 300,000 yen and D2H is 327,800 yen ... and that's 27,800 yen difference. That's about $250 difference.... So for $250 more on top of the price for the birdie, you can get a D2H.

Just want to show that this is one expensive birdie :)

Unless the cage is VR equipped :) In that case, I can just about use any lens to photograph the birdie without shake or blur :)))
Not!!! Just kidding :)
Just about broke my finger clicking on this one, VR! Took the
message line seriously for a second.

look at it this way, you buy the bird and then you can sell all your big glass since you have a captive subject to take pictures of. Just a matter of which end you are placing your money. LOL

... in that small cage :) Beside, I already got a life-time model contract with that koala of mine and I can't maintain another one :)))

I had an African Grey parrot.. They are the greatest, and cost about 800 US to 1000 US....Talk about personality and ability to talk, wow.. Best parrot in my opinion...Maybe not the prettiest parrot.. but the best.. I miss my "Smokey Bear"...His name. He was a beautiful Bird with great bright red feathers and real Dark grey feathers.. Thats how we figured it was male...
thanks for pretty pic

Thank you for sharing your story :) The African Grey sounds like a spiffy bird :) But boy are they expensive!!!

I don't think I'll ever get to own a birdie ... not very good with pets you know :))))

Do you think the "the birdie will eliminate the need for a grey card" approach will work with my wife?

Maybe then I can set up a animal trust fund to get the birdie ... if boss san agrees :)
Sounds liek you are stuck then, those contracts cost a lot to get
out of, so tiem to add to your R&D collection.
