Okay, I got my 828 in hand from UPS just now... however, after more and more thought, I am begining to realize that this camera is wayyyy beyond my skill level and affordability (it was an impulse order)

Anyways, it is STILL 100% SEALED and if you want it, let me know and I will sell it for 999.00 Shipped.

If you want to pay with paypal, you must absorb the costs.. I think its 2 or 3 %

talk of seals

Anyhoo, having got it in your hot little hands I would go ahead
and try it. When more people begin to put the F828 through its
paces, it will still be popular, so if you wanted to sell it then, you could.

Re skill level, just use it as a P&S until you get more confident to
play with more buttons . . .

Re affordability, think of it as lasting for 5 years, that's $200 a year

Just to let you know, it is against the rules to post For Sale advertisements here in this forum. It's likely your post will get deleted.

As for your skill level, I think you should really give it some time before you give up on it. I was in way over my head when I first bought my F707, but after using it for a while I found that I started to figure things out. My advice is to shoot on Auto mode for a while to get a feel for the camera, and ask questions here in the forum.

I just can't understand... What kind of impulse you talking about, when your camera is still in the box? And... how you know about "skill level" in relation to new camera without even one try?

I have impulses also, but I open new box(es) in store, or in first minute... That is real impulse!
