FZ1 after upgrade gets warm

Hi, I am a new user and just upgraded the firmware on my fz1, I have noticed the camera gets warm after extended use, is this normal? did it do this b4 the upgrade? (I can't remember!)

I haven't yet done the upgrade, since I won't actually have the FZ1 in my hands till Xmas day (but I'll be upgrading it the day after! ;-)

I can tell you though from my experience with various digital cameras (including the FZ1 that I tested for two weeks this summer), they will ALL get noticeably warm after prolonged use. It's a very common occurance, and is actually discussed in the instruction manual for any digicam.

When you notice the warming happen, turn the camera off and leave it alone for about an hour. It should be completely cooled off by then. If your camera gets warm like this when you have only been using it for a few minutes, then you have a problem. But if you only notice it when you've had it on & in use for over an hour straight, you're OK. It's perfectly normal!
