Largest compact flash card size for Canon S45?

Hi,

I heard that the S45 does not fully support flash card sizes greater than 256MB. Can someone confirm? I'll be taking mine to the Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands for two weeks, and don't want to find out the hard way.

Not true at all......get as big as you want....Type I or II with the S45. A 512MB card will hold about 250 pics on that camera, so use that as a reference for choosing your card.

I believe 2GB is the limit as the S45 (IIRC) does not support FAT32, as the S50, G3 and G5 do.
