DSC-V1 with lens filters

I am considering getting the V1, and am wondering about getting the lens filter adapter with it. I noticed when looking at it in the store, it looks like the adapter tube will interfere with the hologram AF function of the camera. I can see that the tube also cuts into the view finder area as well. Does anyone have experience with this, and can tell me if I should get the filters or not?

I have the DSC V1 and although i have not used any add on lenses, it does state in the manual that the add on lens will interfere with the AF function of the camera.

Thanks Moey! That is what I was looking for. I guess I will forego getting the filters. Part of the reason I was leaning toward the V1, was for its size anyway. Putting on that adapter makes the camera twice as thick!
