Seriously?!
I own the A70 and its a great camera but it doesn't seem to be able
to resolve detail as well as the Panasonic and I've seen hundreds
of images from the A70.
Panasonic claim the new image processing in the LC33 processing
results in a 50% improvement in diagonal resolution and its looks
like they may be right.

Personally, I prefer the features. As a amature user who shoots
only for enjoyment, half of the fun is being a photographer and
learning the equipment. Sometimes I just put my a70 in shutter
priority or apature priority and just shoot away. There is
something fulfilling about getting a really good shot that was done
in full manual mode. Having upgraded from the a40, I know that
sometimes the camera cannot do what what it is suposed to do and
there is a shot that you just cannot get (refering to auto mode
etc.). All the features and manual control will allow you to get
that shot, and knowing how to get it is part of the fun for me.
