It's something of an "open" secret that Canon have a new model
on the way. You will not be able to get it until the latter part of 2001
and the details are the subject of rumour only. There are lots of
wish lists posted all over the web (me included) and Canon will
be reading them with interest. The fact is that the vast majority of the
features will already be decided, so we cannot make much of a
difference to the final model. This will be the most important pro
model released by Canon since the EOS1 all those years ago so
we should all allow them to take their time and get it right, they will
have learned loads from the D30 and the EOS1v and I am looking
forward to getting the new camera as soon as I can.
