I'm almost embarassed. I have a major success and I feel like
I'll be an ego maniac if I call attention to it. But I can 't help myself.
My photo, "Hiway to the Skyway" is in this month's Popular Photography.
I haven't seen it myself, yet, the issue hasn't reached me.

Okay, I'm proud as hell and want people to see my work.
I hope they'll go from what they see in Pop Photo and visit my
website.

The way this happened was I sent three photos to the "your Best Shot"
monthly competition and an editor pulled it out for use in
the article. I'll post a link to the shot when I get home, gots to go now!

...your "Asya Schween"-style photo is going to be on the next cover of Time magazine

:)

A friend of mine took a snapshot of me and captured Einstein and me looking like Agent Mishkin 007:

It will appear on cover of Einstein's new book "Theory of Relativity Revisited".

LOL

Congrats, Art! Keep up the great work!!

Congratulations, Art! I know exactly how you feel! I "made" my first cover this month (a lot smaller circulation than Popular Photography, but a national magazine, nonetheless). I'm ecstatic! I haven't yet seen mine, either. My magazine just went to press on the 8th and it will be a couple of weeks before I see mine.

Yours is quite the accomplishment!! I hope everyone on here let's us know when they make a "hit"!! It is nice to share your joy!!

Art Rosch;

That's odd. Art that is the same photo on page 25 of the latest Popular Photography. Now, how about that?!! LOL

Nice photo, Art. Arches National Park is quite a place. My daughter lives in Salt Lake City, UT. We will be there this fall. I intend to take some photos on the way home at Arches, Canyonlands and Monument Valley. However, they will be straight shots as I don't have nearly the skill with Photo Shop to do what you have done here. Maybe someday...

I just saw it in the magazine. Page 25 (full page) June issue. Amazing image.

Yes, that is Arches National Park, and I'm going back there this summer,
to create more material. Congrats on the cover, Randy! This is
a field where obscurity is so much the normal condition that any
recognition at all is a collossal high! But even the obscurity is rewarding,
because photography is so consuming, and so much fun! That may be
poorly worded, but you know what I mean...

Art, I saw the shot and recognized it immediately. A full page even! I can honestly say I knew someone before they were famous. :)

Congrats!
