How Canon Made Sure Micro Four Thirds Was Dead

Everyone wants to kill M4/3, yet it is still here. I picked up my first m4/3 in November of 2011. I've been hearing the same bs ever since.

I was hoping the worst that would happen was I’d get Rick Rolled… sadly it was far worse. Loathe this unfunny clown.

I don't watch him either.

I used to watch him for entertainment, but he stopped being funny, interesting, or relevant. Definitely a Main Character Syndrome sufferer.

Eye detect not working in 4K120 is a real bummer.
True.

No AF in 300fps is bad, too.

And no pre-capture in video. No 2k240fps video. The R5ii is better than the G9m2/GH7.

But: Canon does not have a OMSy90 - thus I stay with MFT: Worse body but better lens at least for macro. For tele Canon is in the lead with the Toneh.

Sure, MFT is not dead in general but for his combo of street video and wild live video Panasonic lost against Canon (and Olympus quit and OM System pretending to be in camera business). I must agree. He is right.

There are still niches left for MFT to survive, just not in his life. In my life LUMIX MFT is still the best for macro in combination with the OMSy90 - Canon does not have such offer e.g. for fast handheld macro exploiting video focus stacking.

I watch him from time to time. There is no way he takes himself seriously and nobody else should either. For entertainment purposes only.
