Welcome to the Weekly Image Thread!

This thread will appear every Saturday (GMT). If the thread is nearing full before the next Saturday, I may start a new thread and carry on until it fills or the next Saturday arrives and it is reasonably full in which case I will start another. Confused, so am I! From time to time the start could be delayed if I am unavailable.

Although this Weekly thread is in the Olympus SLR forum, we openly welcome users of all brands and models.

Please:

  1. Reply to this post and change the TITLE!
  2. Please reply to at least one other contribution, your replies encourage posters!!!
  3. If asked, please share your processing techniques or technical details.
  4. Please show the EXIF if possible. Please identify the lens used regardless of which camera was used to take the image. This helps people form opinions of the lens used with the body to possibly influence future acquisitions.
  5. If special lighting was used to create your image stating what was done may help others.
Thanks for joining and contributing this week.

I miss the brilliant colors of autumn in the northeast rendered beautifully in your photos. From an ex New Jersey resident.

Fall tour in the country side of No Va where the leaves are peaking. About 12 cars showed up. Beautiful day on the slightly chillier side in the morning

I've enjoyed taking this walk with you WN. Despite the overcast conditions there are some lovely tones in the first.

I do rather like the dragonfly artwork.

It was nice to enjoy a walk along the river side once again WN. I really like the dragonfly sculpture which reminds me of the work of an artist called Alfie Bradley probably best known for his work 'Knife Angel'.

Thoroughly deserved Harvey. It's a lovely image.

You wouldn't have liked the rain today either :-D but we welcomed it after a very dry start to Spring.

Dicky.

That really is a terrific series Dicky and I'm pleased I wasn't out and about during the storm. I like the third image the best.

I hope the nail varnish has now worn off!

I drove from the kindy to visit the Boss in hospital and got some admiring glances walking from the car park to the ward. :-D

Thank you WN. Your father did well to capture lightning with the Brownie. I still have mine in the original cardboard box. The prints have long gone but I scanned them all before they faded too much. Oh happy days.

Dicky.
