Hello, everyone. As I always say, thanks for making contributions to this worthwhile endeavor.

This weekly thread serves as a place for members who own Fuji gear to share recent work …… specifically, with their Fuji X APS-C cameras. To re-emphasize…. it’s just fine for owners to post images made with their “other” cameras, but the idea is to allow owners with Fuji X APS-C cameras to compare notes, tips, and any other helpful hints.

To contribute your image, please respond to the original thread. Please, in your message, include a title to reflect what you wish to convey. Consider making it somewhat entertaining… it may add some “spice.” In addition to uploading/embedding your image, please tell us a little about the image if you wish. It is helpful to some of us who are less traveled to talk about the location of your photo if possible. If you can provide details such as camera, settings, and processing, that would be great for people reviewing the images.

If you wish C&C (comments/critique) please indicate that in your post. In this thread it should not be assumed everyone wants C&C. However, if you want specific feedback (composition, exposure, subject, etc.), don’t hesitate to mention it. It may be helpful to respondents what your needs may be.

Thanks,

PS…… Post away!

Of the Getty Museum in LA.

Inside? The post-impressionist, Paul Gauguin_ Arii Matamoe (The Royal End) 1892. It is one of the many priceless works housed in the museum.

Because of the migration to the new Xenforo forum software and UI beginning next Friday, the weekly thread will skip a week. Posting to the new forums will take a little getting used to, even for yours truly.

So stay tuned because change is in the air......

If you didn't read the info thread referenced on the top of all the forum pages here it is:

Three from my trip last week. It snowed one of the days, and made for some interesting/cool color/winter combos. Luinar Neo with Apple Photos and a tiny bit of Photomator. C&C welcome.

Pulled quite a bit of blue out of this- it was deep canyon afternoon shadow. Almost missed it to, if I hadn't turned around to see what was behind me. June Lake Loop (but not actually June Lake- one of the others).

Fujifilm X-T5 (black and silver).
Prime time- 18mm f/1.4, 33mm, Viltrox 75mm.
2.8 club- 16-55, 50-140.
Rest of the story- 70-300, and 100-400mm, 1.4 ext. and MCEX-11. X-T2 (broken paper weight).

I discovered my love for manual lenses on my Nikon Z cameras when I first bought the Voigtländer Nokton 50mm f/1.0, later the APO-Lanthar 35mm f/2.0, and finally the Nokton 75mm f/1.5.

Now I’ve added a Voigtländer Nokton 23mm f/1.2 to my Fuji X-T5 as well. It’s not as sharp as the Fujinon 35mm f/1.4, but it’s significantly smaller. Combined with the Fuji X-T5, it might become my new go-to camera for cityscapes. In any case, it definitely adds to the fun factor.

That last one has quite some detail when looking at 100%. Good composition as well I think. Interesting stonework with mixed rough and smooth sections.

That's wonderful. Autumn colors and snow - we don't get that very often here.

The first and last for me

First and third for me Ulrik. The sun rays add a lot to the first image. Now if they were pointing at the church...

This was monday late afternoon just before sunset on a partly cloudy day. Dark clouds in the background and the sun making it's way through the clouds to illuminate the duck and tree.

After spending last couple of years hiking the trails of New Brunswick, totally alone most of the time photographing birds and covered bridges under complete silence… going to a crowded city like Prague was a bit of a shock.

Tried my best at blending people into the views.
