C&C always welcome!

Nice set with the first my pick. I like to photograph yellowlegs as well

Thanks Morris!

He was so cool to watch with all the hopping around. Beautiful detail makes me want a longer lens!

Your 400mm is a very good lens. Have you tried a TC?

Considering it but not sure it's worth $600 vs a simple crop. Of course if I'm getting 45mp of 560 and THEN cropping maybe that is better? I've just been on a major spend with Nikon going from 0 Nikon stuff to Z8, 400 4.5, 50 1.8 and 24-120 along with a bag to hold it and heavier tripod. Granted I sold other toys to fund it but I feel like I need to slow down a bit before my next step. AND I need to learn to better use this long 400. After just a week of use I've learned that folks who can put up killer long tele images are talented and not just the beneficiaries of deep pockets.

And actually I really like that about this. Chasing feather detail is really cluing me in to how important perfect lighting is.
