Available for Win/Mac. I've found info about this programme here:

Code is open source, available on GitHub.

That quite an overstatement, Lightroom Classic is much more than an editor, there's no way this software can be a "clone". And I'm sure there are some editing features in LrC that are not in this software. It still might be useful for people who want a way to edit their photos, but it is not a "clone".

I missed it. Thanks.

Clone is indeed a term that shouldn't be used here. If it's a clone, it's a clone of several other photo editors as well. Just call it a new photo editor and avoid the misinterpretation.

I tried this program but had to delete it because it didn't work & now I have been left with a desktop icon that I cannot delete!

I believe this desktop shortcut is gone now 😊

Run "regedit" and search for "rapidraw"

Sorry, I have a late thought that you need more details.

If your computer runs Windows, then it will work

1. Right click on windows icon and select "run". Type "regedit" to find it

2. Run regefit. From horizontal main menu under the "edit" have a vertical sub menu. Use find option, type "rapidraw" into boilerplate, hit "enter" on keyboard. Delete what was found (I use keyboard's del button

3. Use "find next" or F3 key to find next entry. Delete it.

And so on.

I had a similar situation, couldn't delete shortcut. But once I have my PC restarted, shortcut has gone.

If you can't trace anything in the registry, you have a ghost shortcut, and I can not help further.

I worked with the Beta and overall liked it. Some work to do but a viable free option. Just hope it remains free over time.

Not on my laptop!
It's just a shortcut on your desktop? What happens when you try to delete it?
I get a message that the original file in OneDrive desktop cannot be found.
Ah, so OneDrive is involved. I stay away from that.

I have downloaded the latest version & find that it cannot recognise RAWs from a Canon SX 50 HS.
Those interested should try to find out from the developer why certain cameras are not supported. I would expect a product like this to use the LibRaw library, which does support that camera, but apparently it uses some other library.

It uses the rawler Rust library - but its not clear exactly which cameras/formats this library supports.
