Hi everyone, I was up early this morning and headed around the lake to try to catch a sunrise on a tree I had spotted a few weeks ago. Sadly the leaves had already passed their best and I could not find a decent frame anyway.

So a plan B was needed, I went back around to a part of the lake that was holding some morning mist and had a walk along the shoreline to find an image.

The Moon and Venus were rising through the clouds and mist,

But the colours caught my eye and I added an ND8 filter and tried again.

I don't use ND filter much, so I went I little crazy...

And back to my usual chocolate box photography to end the morning.

A fun hour or so with the S1r, every time I us it it just feels great in my hands, it a joy to use.

Have a great weekend all.

Steve.

Steve,

Lovely shots, I especially like 1,3 and 4. Very calm. It's def worth getting out early. hopefully there'll be more!

Lovely shots, very atmospheric and art like. You need to get them printed and hung on the wall

Thanks Lee, my wife love the B/W ones so I will look into having one of those printed.

Cheers.

Lovely serene pictures, I like pictures 1, 3, 4 and 6. 2 is still nice but lacks some orange like the first one.

They are worth it to be printed big and hung on a wall. Or if space isn’t big, can switch them at times. 😊😊
