Are anyone familiar with 3rd party Z's when it comes to focus speed, recall focus positions, and noise level?

I enjoy the silence, selectable focus speed and stored focus pulls I can do with Nikon Z's...But if 3rd party lenses act the same way I may investigate into those areas too :-)

Always going to be better native, but it takes some pretty complicated testing to flush this out. I don't have a problem adapting lenses with Expeed7 bodies. No worries.
recall focus positions,
I don't even like Nikon's implementation. The only problem I see is having to wait for firmware updates if something breaks. This should be a rare circumstance. No worries.
and noise level?
I can still hear Nikon's normal and S lenses. Cheaper third party lenses are silent, even my Samyang's. No worries.

The journey and experience is fun, enjoy!

What implementation are you thinking of? I do enjoy doing precise focus pulls for set scenes. Unfortunately you can't control the speed of those yet though....seems to be a medium speed regardless of focus speed set in camera.
