Hello, im looking to replace my Z6II with a Z6III as a backup to my main camera (Z8) Does anyone have any real world experience of both? Does the Z6III have better low light focusing? My Z8 is streets ahead than the Z6II but still struggles sometimes. I shoot events and gigs, lots of low light stuff.

Thank you and Happy New Year

I think it would be an upgrade just looking at the specs on paper (I don't own a Z6 III but do have the Z8). If you are looking to upgrade I would do it soon (like today) as I think Nikon's $300 sale may be ending very soon (like today or by the end of the week).

I shoot indoor events, where I cannot use a flash. The Z6iii grabs focus better than my Z6. How much better? I'd say it is significantly better.

I tried a Z6 III for a bit and it seems comparable to the Z9, it's still quite a bit slow with focus acquisition time with a 24-120 f/4 in very dim environments. My comparison point is to a D6 with a 24-70 2.8 which locks in immediately usually.
