Problems using Tamron firmware software on Mac

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to see if my Tameron 28-200mm lens needs updating as there has been a few issues with it recently. I use a Sony A7C II camera.

I have a Macbook Pro (intel) and I installed the Tameron Sony E firmware update package from their site. It opened ok but asked me to install the Sony Camera Driver, so I did.

However now when I open Tameron's firmware package it automatically closes upon launch. I have reinstalled it several times and turned the computer on and off again. I'm at a loss! Anyone had similar issues?
