Now available on the iPad with:
  • Adjustments
  • Linear Gradient
  • Radial Gradient
  • Brush
Which to be fair to them they said would drop this month

Still to come this year:
  • AI Masking
  • Sessions - which will be very interesting

Very nice…I updated the app BUT:

in layers&mask tab there is no option tab for layers and brushes ( size, hardness etc.), it should be there…

I thought to remove the app and to install it again to see if now those options were there…not wise, my pictures disappeared out of the app and it dit not help😏

Brush size is available in the brushes option - try selecting brush and having a look, I've played a bit and have seen it and used it

And deleting an app will remove the data associated with it - that's an apple thing and not entirely unreasonable

In case of removing the app I should have known better….

On my iPad Pro M1, iPadOS 18 there is no way to alter brush size etc. When I draw with a pencil, I do see the picto’s for brush size etc. nothing happens when I touch them.

Another strange behaviour is that if I use the brush, the moment I lift my pencil or finger, I have to add or remove, so don’t lift your pencil!

So, if I select a brush layer I get the option to select size, opacity, flow and hardness - unless I've got a unique to me version this sounds like you're missing something

Strange, very strange. Nor on my iPad nor on my iPhone 12 with iOS 18 I can excecute those actions. What about the drawing actions with you, can you draw a line, lift the pencil and draw another line without the command ‘add” ?

Well….found one solution for the swab function….As language in C1 mobile I use “ Dutch “..

in settings changed it to “ English “ Now I can use the different options for brush size, opacity etc.

So it is language problem. The annoying thing that you have to keep your pencil/finger on the screen or have to choose add or subtract stays

Nice addition, and clearly necessary.

I played with it a little on an iPad Pro M4, and here’s some feedback:

• Using a language other than English can disable some functions. For example, you cannot adjust any of the brush settings. I had to change the language from French to English to make them work (Thanks Rienm)

• The brush deactivates as soon as you lift the pencil/finger, so you have to click “add” or “subtract” again each time. Pretty annoying,

• When the brush is activated, you cannot zoom or navigate in the picture.

• Despite the M4 Pro’s power, there is still noticeable lag at times, making it hard to see where you’re brushing.

• The UI becomes a bit cluttered, and it would be nice if we could hide or disable some elements.

To conclude, this update satisfied me with its potential, but there is still a lot to optimize: interface, performance, and bugs.

In any case, it is promising, and this is the first time since its release (27 months ago !) that the monthly subscription fee has been justified for me.
