Hallo,
first i may introduce me a liitle bit. I am retired photographer, was primary shooting events, house warming partys and stuff like this. While i get older :-D i changed from Nikon FX to the DX series, ending up with the D7200 and, off course, a lot of Nikon Glass. Most used all the time is the old 35-70mm 2.8 D and the 105 mm DC, which accompanied me for a really long time and i love them because they are build like a tank. Beside this there are the 35mm 1.8 and the 70-200 2.8 as well as the 10-24.
Due to my retirement i am able to change to the private site, and my plans are to stay half of the year in my RV and travelling around. So my photography will switch to Landcape and street photograpohy, i think.
Well, to cut a long story short, i am still happy with the d7200, but for me there is too much struggle for landscape, i.e noise opn high iso etc.
I looked around and found the Z8, evtl. the Z9 to be a suitable one. But as i have seen the FTZ Adapter has no autofocus motor (screw) so my favorite lenses won't work as expected and you know, a old guy loves his old toys :-D
Another option is to switch to D850, but that's 7yrs old ...
What do you guy's think about the switch ?
Btw, shooting Nikon for a really long time i can nearly blind operate the camera
Thank's a lot for reading my long post and for all your thoughts.
All the best
Reinhard
