Does not appear to have a side plate for portrait shooting on a tripod.

You need a NATO Clamp To Arca-Swiss adapter to mount to the left side and than can use it on an Arca-Swiss compatible tripod. I just ordered one for mine.

I tried attaching a small Arca-Swiss plate with one screw to that left side previousl, and it kept twisting so this solution above seems to be sturdiest for vertical orientation on a tripod.
