44" x 50' rolls have gone up from $360 to $425 or more since I got my first roll a few months ago.

Does anyone have a good - meaning cheaper :) - source in the US?

I still have about half of it left, but this is the time to start looking.

TIA

Grab it while you can as the prices I've seen are north of $400. Alternatively, you might consider the Red River Palo Duro Rag at $312 for the same size roll.
Yes, north of $400, like close to $450.

And no, I never want to print on anything else! I've tried a few similar smooth fine art papers and Arches 88 is my one true love.

Have you compared the Canson Arches 88 to Epson Legacy Fibre? I am tempted to try the Canson Paper. I have tried the Red River Smooth Rag, and it is okay but in my opinion it is not as good as the Epson Fibre. I want to purchases 13 X 19 sheets to use with P900 and 13 X 19 sheets are apparently no longer available in Legacy Fibre.

I’ve tried Canon Premium Fine Art Smooth, Innova (forget numbers), and Moab Entrada - all excellent, but my search is over with Arches 88.

EDIT (to add to this): Aside from its vibrancy, it's very white without using any OBAs.

And while I haven't used any other 44" rolls (just got the Pro-4100 a couple of months ago), it's very nice to handle - that is, it's flexible and durable, and it doesn't curl up. I think that's because it's made out of cotton.

The other papers I've used certainly aren't dog poop, but for me this is the winner - even at $425 a roll.

Yes Arches 88 and its fellow papers are pretty special. For those who are interested here is Marc Segal’s measurements and comments: https://photopxl.com/four-new-canson-infinity-arches-papers/

Also, by way of comparison, here are his observations on RR’s Palo Duro Smooth: https://www.luminous-landscape.com/red-river-paper-palo-duro-smooth-rag-310/

He certainly knows what he's talking about, but I'm afraid I don't. :)

No worries. Canson just extended the mill to accommodate an unexpected upsurge in Arches 88 orders.

Ah! Glad to hear it - both because I like paying less and because I'm glad to see it doing well.

Funny, nothing has changed in all these years:

While the “gsm/m2” is the same for all four papers, the two BFK papers are stiffer, so to load them I had to press down gently from the top edge at start of loading for the SC-P5000’s top paper feed to grab them. Once grabbed, they worked well in that paper feed.

No experience with them. But there are still pro camera stores and graphics arts distributors in major cities, anywhere there is a graphic arts community.

Besides B&H, Adorama, IT Supplies, etc., all excellent merchants, there are companies like Midwest Camera Exchange, Shades of Paper, Freestyle Sales Co., Freedom Paper, Samy's ...
