Anyone using or has used the Panasonic Lumix S 85mm f1.8 or the Panasonic Lumix S 100mm f2.8 Macro with their Leica CL or TL2? Both seem to be smaller and lighter than the Leica TL 60mm Macro and both seem to have good reviews. The Macro is not a priority for me, but I would like a prime that is longer than the range on my Leica 18-56mm kit lens that comes with the CL. I've owned a couple of Panasonic MFT lenses the past and they were all excellent, so I'm wondering if the Panasonic S-series lenses are more of the same.

I have the 85f1.8 S and really like it. Haven't used it much yet, but here are some examples from a week or two ago.

Short answer... Yes! All of them are good.

S 50 f1.8 is difficult/impossible to disern to the Leica SL 50 Summicron f2 as Leica copied the optical formula, same with the 35mm versions.

I don't own it but I think the S 100mm.f2.8 has great 3D pop, the MTF is there if you follow those.

Out of the Lumix lenses DXOMark has tested the 85 f1.8 has recorded the highest resolution.

I haven't used either of those lenses (though paid for an 85/1.8 over a week ago and am nervously awaiting its arrival!). However, I did use my 20-60 zoom on a Leica T (recently sold, sob) and can say that combination worked very well indeed. The crop factor made the already impressive close-ups considerably better too. Based on that, I would think the primes would be very good on your CL. The only caveat on that is that the 20-60 seems to resolve remarkably well and may, in fact, be crisper than the 85/1.8? I can't imagine the 100/2.8 wouldn't be a big step up though, from what I've seen. It's a case when resolution charts are useful, because the pixel density of the CL is demanding. I hope that is a tiny bit helpful!
