Can a6700 have no screen flicker when continuous shooting?

My old rx10iv was able to shoot continuous burst with no flicker on the screen, and would stay as a live preview.

My a6700 does flicker a good bit, but I wondered if there was a setting or way to do this?

It's interesting you'd bring this one up. I had a RX10MkIV when it came out. Great camera by the way. Not quite the level of the top cameras today but very competitive and highly capable.

That said the review it shows when shooting is indeed NOT exactly current time. More like a very slightly delayed slideshow if you will. Not bad and I managed to track fairly well.

The current travel friend I have now, the A6700, I'm finding using even the 8fps continuous shooting mode provides me with near no delay in the image in my viewfinder to the point I can easily follow fast moving birds reliably without fail. The only thing more continuous is my Z9 which has NO lag at all and provides a real time view. But the A6700 is so dang close I don't even notice it. Allows for great tracking. I don't find the tiny bit of flicker annoying. But then I use electronic shutter almost exclusively as well which helps a bit. And NO I don't experience rolling shutter issues so many seem to like to beat the dead horse about.
