Just a warning to anyone who took advantage of the promotional vouchers that Amazon UK (not sure about other countries) applied to some Canon RF products earlier in the year (and any future ones). I believe they were provided instead of the Canon Cashback offer in which Amazon were not participating suppliers. I got a voucher for buying an RF 24-240 lens (which I've been very pleased with).

This week I used part of the voucher to buy my grandson a (expensive) tracksuit. The size was mis-described so I returned it for a refund so that I could get him a different size. I got a message from Amazon saying they had processed the return but no refund was being provided because the terms of the promotional voucher don't allow refunds for returns.

After a difficult session with Amazon customer service I have now managed to get a refund. I had taken the precaution of taking a screen shot of the terms and conditions when I purchased the lens and there was no mention of the voucher being non-refundable under any circumstances.

I'm just posting this to inform anyone who hasn't yet used their voucher to ensure they only use it to purchase items it's unlikely they will need to return.
