I like your photos and it stopped me for suggesting, for now, that this forum be renamed the Mobile Photography Equipment Forum. We rarely have posts dealing with photography.

I agree with you about this forum.

Back to the pictures: it seems some were already posted here. Full resolution are really impressive.

Thanks.
The 2nd photo (the construction site) I had already posted a photo of the same place. Concerning the Louvre, I also posted photos, but taken in different locations.

Hi !

Thanks to Gatebois's advice, I just bought a used Xiaomi 13 Pro.

I never had a high end smartphone before, only cheap ones, so for me it's an all new world. Well, I have to say I'm impressed by the quality of the pictures you can take with it.

The 1 inch main sensor is very good, of course, but the real surprise for me is the quality of the telephoto lens. It's a F/2 lens with a 75 mm equivalent focal lengh, with very good close focus ability, making it an almost macro lens.

As far as I know, most smartphones can do macro with the ultra wide lens only. Having the ability to do it with the telephoto is a real bonus, as the rendering is closer to what you would get with a real macro lens.

Some close focus pictures I took, all with Gcam (raw) and quickly processed in Capture One. The bokeh is the "real" bokeh oh the lens.
