Thanks for looking; as always your comments are welcome.

Really well done. I like these environmental shots. I find these photos harder to execute than portrait shots of birds.

A delight to view Jacob

Really lovely pics. Brings back some fond memories as I grew up not far from there in Salinas.

Thanks Feugi! To me everything that moves fast is hard:-)

Thanks Morris! This is my largest collection of bird pictures :-) (and most of them are barely moving...)

Thanks Jerry! I guess it is a little more dry in Salinas compared to where you are now :-)

Yup. But that was a lot of years ago, and I’ve managed to get used to the wetter weather where we’re living these days. I definitely do miss the proximity to Monterey and other coastal areas that were not all that far from where we lived.

Nice job on these. Particularly the last one which to me captured the essence of Point Lobos. I loved shooting (at the time always 4x5) at Point Lobos when I lived in California. This was one of Edward Weston's favorite places to photograph.

Great set of images, with the humble X-T2 and XF70-300 no less.

Thanks for your nice comments Eris!

I like this shot also. It is a great place for photography; should go there more often...

Thank you STU-C! The 70-300 has been quite useful lately both at Point Lobos and Caddo Lake. I am pretty happy with it.
