There seems to be much confusion over what the Qoocam Ego 3D camera produces for 3D video, and perhaps disappointment with the YouTube rendering.
I have posted an original Qoocam Ego 3D video to Vimeo. By "original" I mean the clips were stabilized in the camera and clipped and merged with no additional recompression. So this video is straight from the camera - no grading, no enhancements, no squeezing and no recompression.
Vimeo permits downloading the original video I uploaded. You will see many choices to download, but the one you want is labelled 'Original' and you will see it is much larger in file size than the alternatives, all of which have undergone Vimeo processing (degradation) for streaming.
You might have to join Vimeo (free!) to download. I do not profit from this; indeed, I pay a hefty annual fee to Vimeo so viewers can download my videos. Free membership does not entail getting your financial info, or getting annoying emails or texts.
As you can see, Vimeo also squeezes the original video and is clueless as to what to do with the video for 3D viewing. So, just ignore the stream, click on the V (Vimeo icon) to go to where the video is located and download the original. Click the three dots in the upper right-hand corner to see the download options.
I am happy to answer questions about the process or the video.
