They are using version 2 TC instead of version 3 for comparison. I am assuming you will get eve better results with 1.4/2.0 III TC's.

It does say "with 2x III" on the comparison". I might actually see if I can pick up a used one at a good price, as I only have 1.4x III extender. The 2x never autofocussed with any DSLR bodies.

You are correct. My Bad, it does say Version III.
