Yep, and that’s that’s exactly how I ended my last post. It’s a gamble but a small one IMO. I’m buying some Sigma I mount lenses to use on the Zf now. If and when Sigma releases Z mount versions, I can wait and see if they offer conversions (likely), I can keep using the lenses with the adapter (which seems perfectly doable, especially since the adapter is so small you don’t even know it’s there), or I can sell the Sony mount lenses and buy the new Nikon mount ones. The answer is: At your own risk.I’m particularly excited about the I-series lenses on the Zf, so I’ve been weighing this a bit. On the one hand I can get an adapter and start using the Sony versions of those lenses today, plus then I’d have access to other Sony lenses that look appealing to me. But then the rumor came through that Sigma will these lenses for Z mount at some point, and then I got a little stuck. But I now believe that if the company is producing the lenses for both mounts, then they’ll certainly be able to do a mount conversion between those mounts—and will be perfectly happy to take our money to do so.There is no definite, explicit statement by Sigma regarding paid “mount conversion” service specifically from Sony E-mount to Nikon Z-mount.The answer is yes:Great info, thank you!
I'd really Iike to use ETZ21 Pro and Sigma I-Series lenses.
I wonder if the Sony mount could be changed to Nikon later?

The answer is: Nobody knows.
Have you actually tried?
So I will take a small gamble and get the Sony versions. Worst case scenario I have to keep using the adapter, but I really don’t think that’ll be the case.
Your initial reply “The answer is yes” was misleading or, at best, wishful thinking.
So yes, at your own risk. But there’s not really much of a risk involved here.
