**This week with your MF camera, Nov 18-24, 2023**

Wonderful results!

I'm guessing these were focus stacks?

I spent a few days in the Acadia National Park a few years ago. Beautiful area.

Very nice images. Thanks for sharing.

That is an amazing shot. Well done with a very Pretty young Lady.

Very attractive photo with just the right quality of lighting.

The weather has been atrocious here in northern England this week and the forecast didn't look too good for the weekend either. But this morning the local forecast predicted a break in the rain, a drop in the wind and best of all, the prospect of some mist. So, laden with 6KG of camera equipment I once again headed out into the local woods to see how things were now looking after a week of being batter with storms.

On the way over to the woods I found myself driving through light fog, but as I descended into the valley where the woods are located it thinned and vanished, never to return for the remainder of the morning.

All images taken on a tripod with the Fujifilm GFX100S + 45-100 f/4.0 and a CPL (everything was wet and shiny, so that was kind of essential). Processed from individual raw files in Capture One Pro 23. I did also pack the 32-64 and 100-200, using the latter for a few shots that didn't make it into this set and for the most part, I didn't feel I needed to go wider than 45, so the 32-64 never came out of the bag.

1. Hatch Brook looking a bit swollen. It's usually shallow enough to just walk across here, but not this morning.

2. A wider shot of the area around Hatch Brook. I had planned to take a wander around the other side of the stream, but that clearly wasn't happening today.

5. Still clinging on to a few leaves.

6. Reaching. As previously mentioned, the promised mist was a no show, what were looking at here in the distance is the floor of the valley as it rises up the other side.

7. This was taken from a position a few feet lower than the previous shot. This location takes a number of obstructions out of the equation, but places the upper branches above the horizon line much sooner, so I ended up shooting this using the 65:24 crop to stop the sky intruding.

8. Similarly, I wanted to include the yellowing bush in the foreground, but a wider shot would have brought more of the sky into the shot, so this was the best compromise I could come up with at the time.

9. This is similar to a shot I posted last week, but the trees are looking an awful lot more sparse this week.

10. The previous shot (right) compared to last Saturday's shot (left). What a difference a week makes.

Curious... was this taken yesterday? I'm northeast of you by about 60mi as the crow flies. Yesterday's golden hour at my house, just a few minutes before sunset, was amazing.

I've heard that there are two types of weather in England. It's either : it rains, or it's going to rain. Autumn was English style at its worst in Switzerland this year. But here and there, there is still a little colour in places sheltered from the wind. To be fair, I lived in England for months and the weather was lovely. Well, mostly.

Taken with GF 35-70mm, 6 V crops for the square one, 3 H crops for the pano.

Thank you Jim, I liked it too but wasn't sure about it. Now I'll keep it.
