I'm one happy camper !

Your ability to get this shot doesn't suprise me because you have such wonderful work on your site as well. It's clear you know how to handle a camera.

Very nice work. Thank you for sharing.

Hmmm, what will the forum troll have to say about your lucky accident? LOL. How come your photo isn't crappy? ROTFL.

Very nice shot. I like the composition and that bit of purple adds just the right touch.

Let's see.

Your 10D slightly front focused on the back of the seen netting you a perfect image given the miniscule f/stop and gigantic DOF. Lousy 10D.

Something like that I would imagine.

Just a little. (Unless gravity is skewed in your neck of the woods :) I'm finding I'm taking shots with the same anticlockwise skew with my 10D as well. I'm convinced I'm getting verticals vertical and horizontals horizontal in the VF, but I'm finding a 2 degree lilt to the left on quite a number of shots that I've taken.

Incidentally, didn't I used to see you on the Minolta Forum as a 7i owner?

Hi Simon,

yes, I own the DImage 7 ( not the 7i or Hi ) too. I just sold an E20, and have a C-2100 as well. Camera geek, eh?

I was juggling the camera, a tripod and an umbrella, I forgot to mention it was raining when I shot this. LOL!

Fortunately, nobody but photographers notice this. LOL. Seriously.

To really test your camera, put it on a tripod, and use a hot-shoe-mounted bubble-level.

When I did that, I proved that my camera is fine, and that it's ME who's tilting the images.

Photography -- just another word for compromise

This was one of the first lenses I bought when I got my 10D. I live in the mountains of North Carolina. Near lots of waterfalls. This picture has sparked me to go shot them. Thanks
