Hi All - I own the Lumix S5Mk2X and have been having issues with audio. The problem is this on recording to camera using an external RODE Lav Mic the onboard microphones appear to be still active in that they pick up nearby audio i.e camera clicks etc.
The Lav mics audio is clean no clicks etc. But the audio in camera is definately mixing the Lav with the onboard microphone. I was under the impression that on plugging in and external mic it disables the onboard?
On pulling into the edit suite I only see L and R channels from the Rode but its definately mixing in camera somehow.
Any ideas - its doing my head in.
