OM-1 playback setting issue

A setting in my OM-1 seems to have changed (probably accidentally by me). Now, if I take a picture at, say 400mm zoom with my 100-400 lensand then review it, it shows me the image at 100mm but with a white box around the 400mm. subject. I can change the size using various dials and buttons, but how do I get it back to where it was - just hitting the playback button brings up a correctly sized image on the LCD screen? I can't find a correct way to do this in the menu. Thanks in advance.

It seems to me that if you take a photo at 400mm there is no way that the camera also captured the same photo at 100 mm. Could you have been using the digital teleconverter in shooting menu 2-2?

Agree, what the OP is describing is optically impossible. If a wider fov is shown, it's because the photo was taken at that Focal Length. The RAW would display as the entire image with a white box showing the digital TC area captured in the JPEG.

I checked, and yes that’s it! I had tried the digital converter and accidentally left it on. Thank you both.
