I use them and also the previous version at 170mb/s in my OM1. Yes sometimes have to wait for the buffer to clear but other than delaying review of images, it doesn't affect me much.

I bought one of those and only ever buy stuff from Amazon that is sold by them. If I want fulfilled I’ll go elsewhere.

Your link when I viewed it was fulfilled by Amazon and not sold, and still does having just clicked on it now, hence my suggested link which is from Amazon direct and a few pounds cheaper. If you want advice, don't shoot the messenger.

Both your link and mine lead to the same item, that it didn’t when you checked is hardly my responsibility. If you check it now you’ll see that to be the case though the card is now £1 dearer and it was never a different price.

Your link went to a completely different seller when I checked on two occasions, it may not be your problem, but that is what happened and that is why I pointed it out in case you were unaware of the cheaper option. If you can't take that in the spirit it was posted, then I suggest you don't bother posting request for advice. This isn't the first time I've seen such types of responses from you.

Thanks to all who contributed. I concluded, that for me, no they’re not worth it and I purchased several 128GB cards instead. I even purchased one of them using the link that N1c0la provided (but don’t tell them) shh!

Look into A-Data cards. Those are the new kings!

Something to remember is that many readers are not SD Express, so they will only read/write at V30 speed with that Golden Eagle (and probably the same with other SD Express cards), but the SD Express cards fly when used with SD Express hardware . . . like twice as fast as anything else . . . and now SD8 is coming out, which promises to work at ludicrous speed.

Now, if you don't like my suggestion, you can go with v90. Just read what they have to say about this one: "I don't have long term usage with this card but the V90 throughput is very fast. The buffer clears almost immediately on my camera even with stills. It's worth the little extra to get the faster cards."

Own v90 UHS-ii cards and use it with Lumix G9. The V90 is faster in buffer clearing after High Speed shoots compared with my older V30.
