To me...one of those examples that show how a good B&W treatment can turn a snap shot into something better than. I like the story the expressions tell. Nice stuff

To me these shots obviously are not merely snapshots, the girls being my twin girls aged 10. But they were taken without any preparation, just playing around with the old D800 and a manual focus lens. I have to admit I'm pleased with the way they turned out.

Although, the second one really is 10cms too close, and the lighting (facing the big tv screen unlike the first one) is less favourable.

But the way the Zeiss renders and the "grain" of the D800 at 3200 ISO are wonderful!

While I may agree with the 2nd being a tad too close, I may argue that the light is just fine by me. You have 2 lovely models.
