Hi, a while ago, I used to switch from Classic to LR CC and the process was not as flawless as I hoped, if I remember well. Since the enhanced DNG files are so large and count against the data plan, I plan to switch back to LR Classic.

All my pictures are organised in albums, some with similar names but in different album folders. Is there something I should know to prepare my library for this switch ?

I don't know the process but I certainly can understand your switch (back?) to Classic. I print lots and post on internet hardly at all. Classic far more meets my needs. I'm sure it isn't the way to go for others, but it is for me.

I mostly import camera files and edit them on my phone, on the go (it's very fast with an OTG cable), that's why used to switch to LR CC, and I'm very happy with it. But I run out of cloud space even after buying an exra TB, that's why I want to switch back. And I'll still have 100GB to sync most recent pictures before I reach my computer.

Understood. File space! An ongoing challenge

Thanks. I won't be simple ;-) especially if I want to keep keywords AND collections ;-(
