** Weekly Fuji X-Series Photo-Sharing Thread JULY 29-August 4, 2023** Thread #2!

I replied earlier, but will say again that #2 is my favorite. The wings look like a Japanese fan unfolded.
Thank you Greg,

I chose that one from the burst because of the wing position

I like the color and bokeh in the tobacco can shot.

Have I ever told you or anyone about my Boss 302 experience? Maybe too many words here at this time of night but I will relay it when I can..... not exciting but an interesting experience.

BTW I'll take either of those Mustangs! 😁

Hey everyone. Here are a few snaps made with my new-to-me XT5 and 56mm 1.2 WR. I have shot previously with the X-T10 and X-T30ii. This new camera is amazing, so capable and fun to use. But I don't think I'm getting everything I can out of the new sensor. I am typically with my three kids and wife when I have my camera so many photos focus on them. I don't want to bore with family shots so here are some more creative pictures taken while on a short hike with my dog a couple weeks ago. Please provide dome C7C on my editing and how I can get more from this new 40mp sensor. For background I use Lightroom Classic.

I have posted two variations of this shot but I like the B&W one most.

The Heather seems to have come a bit earlier this year as its been out for most of July and seems to be about past its peak already. These are a few from the East Devon Pebblebed heaths on Saturday during a welcome break in what seems to have been one of the wettest July's in the UK despite the rest of world seemingly suffering crazy heat.

I personally think these are really nice both in terms of composition and editing. That lens is one I'm very keen to try too and helpful to see it being used in a very similar way to my own photography.

A lovely set **** with the first two my picks

I'm liking the composition of #3. Your editing does a nice job of capturing a respite in wet and stormy weather.

Thank you. I am in love with that lens. It is a modern lens with classic character IMO.

These two fledgling American Robbins went at it over a perch with plenty of room. Possibly it was the heat that frayed there nerves.

What a brilliant set- any one of the shots could stand alone to show the scrap but put together for the whole thing - outstanding

Nice set. Odd that he didn’t get trampled, knocked off or possibly eaten….though I think there’s only a handful of birds that will eat them due to the toxins/smell they secrete.
