For my videos I use sony a7c with original np-fz100 batteries. However, when I shoot many hours of 4k videos, the battery runs out in 2-2.5 hours of work. So I ordered the np-f plate from smallrig along with dummy battery. But when I turned on the camera, feeding it through it, I saw this warning. The camera does not overheat, does not swear and does not smell like a burner) But... is it safe to use this power setup?

I think the message means exactly what it says: Sony is not going to guarantee that it will work; it might work fine; it might burst into flames. I think Sony is telling you that it doesn’t recognise the power source.

if you want the “official answer, I think Sony might suggest that weird lump of an object: the NPA-MQZ1K - it’s a block that holds up to 4 x FZ100 batteries, but can also be mains powered. So you get four times the runtime on battery, but it can also power the camera from mains. It also works as a charger, able to recharge 4 batteries at once. It includes the dummy battery connection.

Yeah, I know about NPA-MQZ1K, but it is really busy and price is too high. I am more interested in the opinion of people who have used smallrig dummy battery, and not the answer on the brochure)

Yes. It's all about a properly regulated power supply. Another option that's worked for me is Tether Tools Case Relay Camera Power System
